Sybiha met with PACE President Bayr in Chisinau
Chisinau, May 15 (Hibya) - Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha announced that he met with Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) President Petra Bayr on the sidelines of the 135th Committee of Ministers Session held in Chisinau.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha emphasized the importance of support provided to Ukraine on international platforms and the monitoring of legal processes.
Expressing his satisfaction with the meeting and his assessment of PACE’s role, Sybiha said: “I met with PACE President Petra Bayr on the sidelines of the 135th Committee of Ministers Session in Chisinau.”
Sybiha stated: “I am grateful to PACE for its unwavering support for Ukraine, especially for its strong advocacy regarding the Special Tribunal for the crime of aggression against Ukraine and the international compensation mechanism.”
Highlighting the other topics discussed and parliamentary-level efforts, Sybiha added: “We discussed ensuring Russia’s accountability, the return of deported Ukrainian children, and the continuation of parliamentary efforts for sustained political support for Ukraine across Europe.”
