Estonian Foreign Minister Tsahkna, together with Albanian Prime Minister Rama, visited the Maarjamae Memorial to the Victims of Communism in Tallinn. During the visit, statements emphasized that accountability for international crimes “should never be optional.”

In this context, Tsahkna stated that support for Ukraine and international pressure on Russia should continue decisively.

It was noted that Albania is an important partner for Estonia both in bilateral relations and within NATO, and that cooperation between the two countries continues strongly. Estonia also announced that it supports Albania’s European Union membership process and encourages the continuation of reforms.
