IDF: Hezbollah violated the ceasefire once again
Jerusalem, May 15 (Hibya) - The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that multiple drones heading from Lebanon toward Israeli territory were detected and intercepted, stating that the incident constituted another ceasefire violation by Hezbollah.
The IDF announced that air defense systems were activated in the northern regions of the country and measures were taken against multiple drones arriving from Lebanon.
The statement said that one of the drones was shot down by air defense systems, while the others fell into open areas and were neutralized. No major damage or casualties were reported during the incident.
The IDF stated that the attack was carried out by Hezbollah and that it constituted a violation of the current ceasefire arrangements. Tensions in the region are reportedly continuing amid increasing reciprocal activity along the border in recent times.
