Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif made a statement regarding his conversation with Austrian Chancellor Christian Stocker and the latest situation in the region.

Referring to the nature of the conversation and mediation efforts, Sharif said, "We fondly recalled our meeting in Vienna, and I expressed my gratitude for his strong support for Pakistan's sincere efforts to secure the Iran-US ceasefire and bring both sides back to the negotiating table."

Emphasizing that they shared a common position on the continuity of peace, Sharif said, "We agreed that it is imperative for all sides to maintain the ceasefire and continue efforts for a lasting peace in the region and beyond."
