Prevot: Europe must invest in strategic autonomy
Brussels, June 18 (Hibya) - Belgian Foreign Minister Maxime Prevot said ahead of the European Council that decisions on key issues such as the EU budget, enlargement and competitiveness will determine Europe’s room for maneuver in the future.
Belgian Foreign Minister Maxime Prevot said he was pleased to meet with his colleagues from the Renew Europe group, stressing that decisions regarding major challenges such as the EU budget, enlargement and competitiveness will shape Europe’s capacity to act in the coming years.
Prevot emphasized that Europe must invest in strategic autonomy at a time of profound geopolitical developments and noted that they exchanged views on these issues.
