Pakistani and Egyptian foreign ministers discuss regional developments
Islamabad, June 18 (Hibya) - Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty discussed the memorandum signed between the United States and Iran, as well as issues of regional cooperation.
Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Badr Abdelatty held a telephone conversation.
During the call, Egyptian Foreign Minister Abdelatty congratulated Pakistan on the memorandum signed between the United States and Iran. Abdelatty also expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s contributions to promoting peace and stability at both the regional and global levels.
The two ministers also highlighted the positive significance of this development for the global economic outlook.
The discussion additionally covered preparations for the upcoming R-4 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting, which includes Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and Egypt, and is scheduled to be held in Egypt’s city of El Alamein in the coming days.
The parties exchanged views on regional cooperation and items on their shared agenda.
