Memorandum of diplomatic cooperation signed between Syria and Azerbaijan
Damascus, June 18 (Hibya) - A memorandum of understanding was signed between the Diplomatic Institute of Syria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates and the Azerbaijan Institute for Development and Diplomacy to promote cooperation in diplomacy, education, and research.
A memorandum of understanding was signed in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, between Yaser Al-Jundi, Director of the Diplomatic Institute of Syria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, and Feriz Ismailzade, representing the Azerbaijan Institute for Development and Diplomacy.
The memorandum aims to enhance joint cooperation in the fields of diplomacy and international relations, strengthen inter-institutional dialogue, and increase the sharing of expertise between the two institutions.
Under the agreement, capacity-building programs, diplomatic training activities, and initiatives supporting scientific research are expected to be carried out.
The parties will also cooperate on joint projects designed to increase the exchange of knowledge and experience in the field of diplomacy.
