Colombian President Petro: What is at stake is the life of humanity
Bogota, April 9 (Hibya) - Colombian President Gustavo Petro stated that full compliance with the ceasefire agreement must be ensured.
Colombian President Gustavo Petro made statements regarding the ceasefire process in the region and human rights obligations.
Assessing the preservation of the ceasefire and Israel's stance, Petro said, "Netanyahu must understand that the agreed full ceasefire must be respected and that he must respect the people and the territory of Lebanon."
Calling for sanctions from the international community, Petro said, "The entire world must impose sanctions if the agreed pact is not respected."
Petro concluded his remarks by saying, "What is at stake is the life of humanity."
