UAE Ministry of Defence and EDGE Group forge strategic partnership
Abu Dhabi, July 2 (Hibya) - The United Arab Emirates Ministry of Defence has signed a strategic partnership agreement with EDGE Group for the World Congress on Military Medicine to be held in Abu Dhabi in 2026.
According to a statement by the UAE Ministry of Defence, the ministry signed a strategic partnership agreement with EDGE Group, a company operating in the fields of advanced technology and defence.
Under the agreement, EDGE Group will serve as the strategic partner of the 46th World Congress on Military Medicine, which will take place in Abu Dhabi from November 9 to 13, 2026.
The signing ceremony was attended by Major General Aisha Sultan Al Dhaheri, Head of the Military Health Executive Directorate and Chair of the ICMM2026 Higher Organising Committee, as well as Hamad Al Marar, Board Member and Chief Executive Officer of EDGE Group.
The Ministry of Defence said the agreement aims to strengthen the network of partners supporting the congress and enhance cooperation between the technology and defence sectors in both military and civilian healthcare.
It added that the World Congress on Military Medicine is a major international platform bringing together military and civilian healthcare professionals from more than 120 countries to promote knowledge exchange and international cooperation.
