Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Ukraine is experiencing a shortage of Patriot air defense systems, adding that Putin continues his attacks and is targeting civilian residential areas.

Zelensky thanked the countries supporting the supply of Patriot interceptor missiles and stressed that Ukraine needs its own production capacity to ensure lasting security.

He also said that operational support from the United States when needed would be beneficial and expressed hope for a positive response from U.S. President Donald Trump on the matter.

Zelensky said, "I thank everyone who expressed their condolences to Ukraine today, everyone who did not remain silent and condemned Russian terror."
