Portugal expresses support for Colombia
Lisbon, August 11 (Hibya) – Portuguese Foreign Minister Paulo Rangel held a phone call with his counterpart Omar Bula following the powerful earthquake in Colombia.
In a statement, the Portuguese Foreign Ministry said that Rangel conveyed Portugal's solidarity and condolences to the Colombian people over the lives lost in the earthquake.
Rangel also announced that immediate bilateral assistance would be provided to the Colombian authorities and that, if necessary, this support could be increased within the framework of European assistance.
