Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar received Azerbaijan's outgoing Ambassador to Pakistan Khazar Farhadov during a farewell call.

The meeting focused on developing the brotherly relations between Pakistan and Azerbaijan and strengthening cooperation between the two countries.

According to a statement by Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ishaq Dar appreciated Ambassador Farhadov's contributions during his tenure toward further advancing Pakistan-Azerbaijan relations.

Dar wished Farhadov success in his future assignment and conveyed his best wishes and personal greetings to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.

Azerbaijani Ambassador Khazar Farhadov, for his part, thanked Ishaq Dar for the support extended to him during his tenure.

Farhadov also expressed appreciation for Pakistan's efforts toward achieving lasting peace in the region.
