Mixed performance in Asian markets
Istanbul, May 26 (Hibya) - A mixed performance was observed in Asian stock markets during the trading day. While markets in Japan and Australia declined, indexes in Hong Kong and India posted gains.
Indexes in Asian markets moved in different directions during the trading day.
In Australia, the ASX 200 index fell by 0.43 percent to 8,654.40 points. In Japan, the Nikkei index traded down 0.19 percent at 65,035.37 points.
In India, the Nifty 50 index rose by 0.08 percent to 24,005.65 points, while in Hong Kong, the Hang Seng Index (HSI) gained 0.53 percent to reach 25,742.97 points.
In China, the Shanghai index declined by 0.84 percent to 4,117.849 points.
