Kos: It is time to roll up our sleeves and work even harder
Brussels, June 12 (Hibya) - European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos welcomed the approval to open the fundamentals cluster in the accession process with Ukraine and Moldova and congratulated both countries.
European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos stated that the decision taken by the member states would bring significant momentum to the negotiation process and marked a historic turning point.
Highlighting the future of the negotiations and the efforts made by the candidate countries, Kos said, "On Monday, Ukraine and Moldova will take their biggest step since the launch of EU accession negotiations in 2023. I congratulate both countries on their commitment and dedication to the European path."
