According to a statement from Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the aid was provided by the Qatar Fund for Development. The relief operation aims to support areas affected by the floods and contribute to emergency humanitarian response efforts.

The aid package, which is expected to benefit around 52,000 people, includes water extraction and pumping equipment, lighting supplies, food products and multipurpose tents. The supplies are intended in particular to help meet the needs of families and children facing difficulties in accessing water and essential services.

The Qatar International Search and Rescue Group, affiliated with Qatar’s Internal Security Force, is also operating in Nepal to deliver aid supplies to affected areas and support humanitarian relief efforts on the ground.

The statement said Qatar would continue its efforts to strengthen international humanitarian and development partnerships and would maintain its support for international efforts to respond to disasters and crises.
