Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei stated that the United States is moving away from democratic values and evolving into a position that supports violent rhetoric.

Referring to President Trump’s posts, Baqaei said, “The President of the United States has openly reshared a statement by someone calling for ‘killing those who do not want an agreement’.”

Addressing the change in the U.S.’s global image, Baqaei stated, “The United States, which once presented itself as the cradle of democracy, freedom, and human values, now appears to be becoming a supporter of terrorism, murder, and mass violence.”

Baqaei asked, “What else can this be called if not a profound moral failure?”
