Zelensky: Ukraine and Southeast European countries are strengthening their shared security ties
Kyiv, July 15 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized the importance of cooperation with Southeast European countries in the fields of security, defense, economy, and politics during the Ukraine–Southeast Europe Summit held in Kyiv.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated during the Ukraine–Southeast Europe Summit that joint efforts between Ukraine and the countries of Southeast Europe continue actively and productively.
Zelensky said that by working together to strengthen security, defense, economic, political, and cultural ties, the countries enable the peoples of Europe to preserve their identities and freely determine their own future.
Thanking the countries supporting Ukraine's struggle for independence, Zelensky stressed the importance of cooperation not only through bilateral relations but also within multilateral platforms such as the "Coalition of the Willing."
Zelensky noted that solidarity between Ukraine and the countries of Southeast Europe is essential for regional security and the future of Europe, adding that this cooperation will continue.
