Dutch Defense Minister Dilan Yeşilgöz-Zegerius congratulated her counterpart Evgeniy Khmara on his new position and stated that defense cooperation between the two countries would continue with determination.

Conveying her congratulations, Yeşilgöz-Zegerius said: “Congratulations to Evgeniy Khmara on his appointment as Ukraine’s Minister of Defense. I look forward to continuing our close cooperation.”

Emphasizing the Netherlands’ support for Ukraine and its connection to European security, Minister Yeşilgöz-Zegerius concluded her statement by saying: “You can be assured that our support for defending Ukraine will continue. Because a strong Ukraine makes Europe and the Netherlands safer.”
