Putin: Russia and Myanmar are bound by ties of friendship and partnership
Moscow, August 19 (Hibya) - Russian President Vladimir Putin made a statement on relations between the two countries following his meeting with Myanmar President Min Aung Hlaing.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said relations between Russia and Myanmar go back many years, noting that the two countries are bound by “time-tested ties of friendship, partnership and mutual support.”
According to the statement conveyed by the Russian Foreign Ministry, Putin noted that the shared history of the two countries contains significant experience in multifaceted cooperation.
Putin said: “Our shared history encompasses rich experience in the field of multifaceted cooperation.”
