White House: Violent crime fell by 9.7 percent
Washington, August 18 (Hibya) - The White House said that United States (US) President Donald Trump's policies on public order and fighting crime directly contributed to the decline in violent crime across the country.
In a statement, the White House said, “It is a simple fact that President Trump's public order and law enforcement policies have directly led to a significant decline in violent crime in our country and made Americans safer.”
The statement said violent crime fell by 9.7 percent last year, marking the largest annual decline since the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) began producing national estimates.
