The Ministry of Defense of the United Arab Emirates issued a statement regarding the attacks on the country's airspace and the defensive operations.

Clarifying the sounds of explosions heard in various regions of the country, the Ministry stated: "The air defense of the United Arab Emirates is currently combating missile and unmanned aerial vehicle threats coming from Iran."

The statement noted that the defense systems are actively engaged and confirmed that "the sounds heard in various parts of the country were caused by air defense systems intercepting ballistic missiles and fighter jets intercepting unmanned aerial vehicles and loitering aircraft."
