Doha, March 10 (Hibya) - Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the attack on the Consulate General of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Iraq.
Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the attack on the Consulate General of the United Arab Emirates in Iraq, describing it as an unacceptable act and a clear violation of all international norms and conventions that protect diplomatic missions and premises.
The ministry emphasized that targeting diplomatic missions and premises constitutes a clear violation of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations and represents a dangerous escalation that threatens the security of diplomatic personnel and undermines internationally recognized rules governing diplomatic work.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated that the State of Qatar firmly rejects all forms of violence and terrorist acts that target diplomatic missions or undermine security and stability.
