Tsahkna: Both the Union and candidates benefit
Tallinn, May 1 (Hibya) – Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna stated that the enlargement of the European Union (EU) has made Europe stronger and more secure, calling for the continuation of the process.
Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna highlighted the transformation his country has undergone over the past 22 years and shared his assessments regarding the European Union enlargement process.
Tsahkna stated that Estonia’s experience demonstrates that enlargement benefits both the European Union and the countries that join it. He emphasized that this process makes the continent more prosperous, more secure, and stronger on a global scale.
Stressing that the gains achieved through EU enlargement should continue, Tsahkna called for the uninterrupted advancement of this process.
