Sybiha: Ukraine trusts the OSCE’s proactive and action-oriented role
Kyiv, April 11 (Hibya) - Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha thanked officials of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE PA).
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha made a statement regarding the work carried out within the OSCE PA and the situation of the detained officials.
Expressing his thanks to the OSCE PA leadership, Sybiha said, “I thank President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe Pere Joan Pons Sampietro, Special Rapporteur Boris Dittrich, and Secretary General Roberto Montella for highlighting this important step.”
Expressing his expectations for the freedom of the detained individuals, Sybiha said, “Ukraine trusts the OSCE’s proactive and action-oriented role in securing the release of all our people unlawfully held by Russia — prisoners of war, civilian detainees, and unlawfully detained OSCE officials Dmytro Shabanov, Maksym Petrov, and Vadym Golda.”
Emphasizing justice, Sybiha concluded his statement by saying, “Their freedom and the accountability of the Moscow regime must go hand in hand.”
