Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar congratulated his counterpart, who took office in Chile’s new government, and reiterated the message of partnership between the two countries.

Wishing him success in the new period, Saar said, “I congratulated him on assuming this important position in the new government under President Jose Antonio Kast Rist.”

Drawing attention to bilateral relations and regional decisions, Saar said, “I expressed my admiration for the Chilean people and their economic achievements. I thanked him for Chile’s moral decision to withdraw from the anti-Israel and hostile ‘Hague Group.’”

Saar concluded his statement by saying, “I invited him to visit Israel as soon as possible.”
