Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in a message issued after the natural disaster in Indonesia, expressed his deep sorrow over the catastrophe and said Pakistan stands with the Indonesian people.

Referring to the devastation, Sharif said, “We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of life and widespread destruction caused by the earthquake in Indonesia.”

Extending his condolences, Prime Minister Sharif said, “On behalf of the people and Government of Pakistan, I extend my deepest condolences to President Prabowo Subianto, the people of Indonesia and the grieving families. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected, and we pray for the speedy recovery of the injured.”

Sharif concluded his condolence message by saying, “Pakistan stands shoulder to shoulder with the brotherly people of Indonesia and wishes strength and resilience to everyone going through this difficult time.”
