Uzbekistan's Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov commented on his meeting with the new ambassador and the diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Highlighting the course and strategic importance of Uzbekistan-Germany relations, Saidov said: "We highly value Germany as one of our reliable and long-standing partners in Europe. In recent years, Uzbekistan-Germany relations have been steadily developing through high-level visits and regular political dialogue."

Referring to the issues discussed during the meeting, Saidov said: "During the meeting, we addressed important issues on the bilateral agenda and emphasized the importance of the timely and effective implementation of agreements reached at the highest level."

Saidov concluded his remarks by expressing his best wishes: "We wished the Ambassador success in his responsible and honorable diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan."
