Russell: Malnutrition among children in Somalia is worsening
New York, March 26 (Hibya) – UNICEF Executive Director Catherine Russell stated that the problem of malnutrition among children in Somalia is worsening.
UNICEF Executive Director Catherine Russell noted that the issue of malnutrition among children in Somalia is increasingly deteriorating.
Russell said, "One of the most heartbreaking scenes is the beds where malnourished children lie and the anxious mothers hoping for their children's survival."
Russell emphasized that no child should die from causes that are preventable and treatable.
