Regional tensions affect tourism activities in Lebanon
Beirut, August 17 (Hibya) - Ongoing regional tensions in Lebanon have reportedly affected the tourism sector.
According to CCTV, ongoing regional tensions in Lebanon are affecting the tourism sector.
In the country, where the tourism season normally peaks in August, international tourists and Lebanese travelers have reportedly postponed or canceled their travel plans due to the ongoing conflicts. The report also noted that developments in the region bring the risk of flight cancellations.
It was also reported that around Beirut's Pigeon Rocks, the crowds seen in previous years, made up of tourists from Gulf countries and Europe as well as Lebanese returning to the country for summer holidays, have not been seen this year.
