The State of Qatar strongly condemned the renewed attacks by the Islamic Republic of Iran against the State of Kuwait.

Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the attacks constituted a clear violation of Kuwait's sovereignty and territorial integrity, stating that Iran was acting in contravention of international law, the United Nations Charter and the principles of good neighborliness.

The statement said Iran's renewed attacks against Kuwait constituted “a blatant violation of its sovereignty and territorial integrity.”

The ministry also stressed that the attacks represented a clear violation of international law, the United Nations Charter and the principles of good neighborliness.

Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the continuation of Iran's attacks would further complicate efforts to contain tensions in the region.

The statement said the attacks would undermine political and diplomatic efforts aimed at ensuring security and stability in the region, describing their continuation as “a dangerous escalation.”

The ministry said it held the Islamic Republic of Iran legally responsible for the attacks and their repercussions and consequences.

Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated that the State of Qatar stood in full solidarity with Kuwait.

The statement said Qatar supported all measures taken by Kuwait to protect its sovereignty and security.

The ministry stressed that attacks against Kuwait's sovereignty, territorial integrity and security were unacceptable, while warning that the current tensions in the region must not be allowed to escalate further.

Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs called for the immediate and comprehensive cessation of all military operations and attacks that threaten the security and stability of the region.

The statement said that any action that could further expand the cycle of tension and conflict should be avoided.

Qatar called on the parties to return to dialogue and negotiations and to abide by the understandings reached as a result of diplomatic efforts.

The ministry stressed that political and diplomatic initiatives should be prioritized over military methods in order to preserve security and stability in the region.

The statement said all parties should act responsibly and support ongoing diplomatic efforts to prevent the tensions from developing into a broader regional conflict.
