French President Emmanuel Macron issued a congratulatory message following the election of Ülle Madise as President of Estonia.

In his message, Macron congratulated Madise on her new role, saying that her longstanding commitment to the rule of law and democratic freedoms honors their shared values.

Macron also thanked outgoing Estonian President Alar Karis.
