Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Qatar's Foreign Ministry Spokesperson and Adviser to the Prime Minister Majed bin Mohammed Al-Ansari assessed the regional crisis during the weekly press conference.

Al-Ansari said Qatar continues its efforts to halt the escalation and restore the ceasefire. He stressed the importance of reopening the Strait of Hormuz, ensuring freedom of navigation and bringing the parties back to the negotiating table.

Stating that Qatar believes diplomacy and dialogue are the only way to overcome differences and conflicts, Al-Ansari said efforts to resolve the crisis through diplomatic means are continuing.

Al-Ansari also emphasized Qatar's determination to protect its people, territory and sovereignty, while highlighting the importance of good-neighborly relations based on respect for sovereignty and joint cooperation.

Al-Ansari said coordination among Gulf countries is continuing at various levels to address the potential repercussions of the crisis and that joint efforts to strengthen regional security and stability are ongoing.

Al-Ansari also said that implementation of the second phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement should be accelerated, stating that the Israeli side has not adhered to the agreed provisions in implementing the ceasefire agreement linked to US President Donald Trump's plan.
