Plenkovic: We must stand united against the threat of terrorism and all forms of extremism
Zagreb, September 11 (Hibya) - Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic commemorated those who lost their lives in the September 11 attacks on the 25th anniversary of the attacks and called for unity against the threat of terrorism and extremism targeting democracy.
Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic issued a message on the 25th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks in New York. Plenkovic said he respectfully remembers those who lost their lives in the attacks and the courage of those who stepped in to help the victims in the face of the tragedy.
Plenkovic said the solidarity that emerged after the attacks continues to serve as a reminder of the strength of the human spirit, adding: “The September 11 attacks showed that we must stand united against every terrorist threat and all forms of extremism that threaten the values of democracy and freedom.”
Plenkovic said Croatia, just as it did 25 years ago, stands with the United States today and emphasized its solidarity with the American people.
