Plenkovic meets with Ukrainian Parliament Speaker Stefanchuk
Zagreb, March 25 (Hibya) – Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic met with Ukrainian Parliament Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk in Zagreb as part of the Three Seas Initiative (3SI) Parliamentary Summit.
Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic met with the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefanchuk, in Zagreb within the framework of the Three Seas Initiative (3SI) Parliamentary Summit. In a statement shared on social media, Plenkovic expressed his satisfaction with the meeting.
Referring to Croatia’s support for Ukraine, Plenkovic stated that his country continues to stand by Ukraine, saying: “Croatia firmly stands with Ukraine and continues to provide political, diplomatic, military and humanitarian assistance, as well as the expertise of Croatian companies in the demining process.”
Plenkovic noted that Europe’s energy security was also discussed during the meeting, and that steps aimed at achieving peace on fair and sustainable grounds were evaluated.
He also emphasized the importance of achieving peace based on respect for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Plenkovic stated that Croatia is positioned as a reliable energy route for Central and Eastern Europe and contributes to diversifying energy supply and strengthening the region’s energy resilience.
