Rutte: Mauritania is an indispensable partner of NATO
Brussels, March 25 (Hibya) – NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte met with Mauritanian President Mohamed Cheikh El Ghazouani and emphasized Mauritania’s strategic importance in the Sahel region.
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte made a statement on bilateral relations following his meeting with Mauritanian President Mohamed Cheikh El Ghazouani.
Expressing satisfaction with the meeting, Rutte said: “Mauritania is an indispensable partner of NATO, playing an important role in the strategically important Sahel region.”
Referring to future cooperation goals, Secretary General Rutte stated: “We are determined to further strengthen our partnership, including by enhancing our capacity to combat terrorism.”
