Mixed outlook in European stock markets
Istanbul, May 15 (Hibya) - European markets showed a mixed performance during the trading day. While stock exchanges in the UK and Italy posted gains, other major European indices moved sideways.
A mixed outlook stood out in European stock markets during the trading day.
The pan-European STOXX Europe 600 index remained flat at 616.05 points. In Germany, the DAX index displayed a balanced performance at 24,456.26 points, while in France the CAC 40 index moved sideways at 8,082.27 points.
In the UK, the FTSE 100 index rose 0.46 percent to 10,372.93 points. In Italy, the FTSE MIB index gained 1.15 percent, reaching 50,006.27 points.
It was noted that investors continue to monitor global economic developments, expectations regarding central banks’ monetary policies, and assessments of corporate earnings reports.
