Making a statement about the meeting, Merz addressed developments in the Palestinian territories.
Merz said, “I am deeply concerned about the developments in the Palestinian territories. The annexation of the West Bank to Israel must not be allowed.”
The statement noted that the situation in the West Bank was discussed during the meeting.
