EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen shared her assessments regarding the agreement reached within the framework of artificial intelligence governance and digital growth strategies.

Referring to the sectoral effects of the agreement, von der Leyen said, “I welcome the political agreement on our Artificial Intelligence Digital Omnibus. This provides a simple, innovation-friendly environment for the growth of our European artificial intelligence ecosystem.”

Emphasizing the social dimension of the regulation, von der Leyen said, “At the same time, we are strengthening protections for our citizens. For safe and simple artificial intelligence governance in Europe.”
