Lahbib: Everyone in the EU should be able to live without fear
Brussels, July 22 (Hibya) - European Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib said that LGBTIQ+ people should be able to gather peacefully in Oradea, Romania, and in cities across Europe.
European Commissioner Hadja Lahbib said everyone in Europe should be able to live without fear because of their identity or sexual orientation.
Lahbib said, "We are a Union of Equality where everyone can be who they are and love whom they choose."
Emphasizing that people should be able to hold peaceful marches in Oradea and other European cities, Lahbib said, "People must be able to defend their right to assemble and live without fear. We stand with the LGBTIQ+ community."
