Lahbib: EU medical teams treated more than 2,000 patients in Venezuela
Brussels, July 17 (Hibya) - European Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib announced that she visited the Spanish field hospital established in Venezuela under the European Union Civil Protection Mechanism.

Lahbib stated that the field hospital was responding to post-earthquake trauma cases and providing healthcare services.
Noting that more than 100 healthcare personnel from European Union countries were working in the region following the earthquakes in Venezuela, Lahbib said the teams had so far provided treatment to more than 2,000 patients.
