Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi stated that three villagers lost their lives while crossing the Bandar Khamir Bridge, adding that they would defend every inch of their homeland until their last breath.

Commenting on the incident, Araghchi said: "Three villagers were martyred while crossing the Bandar Khamir Bridge. They were completely innocent, and we will never allow their blood to have been shed in vain."

Emphasizing the country's territorial integrity and determination to defend it, Araghchi concluded: "Iran is our homeland from south to north and from east to west. We will defend every inch of our land until our last breath."
