Dar holds talks with Australian Foreign Minister Wong
Islamabad (Hibya) – Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a phone call with Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong.
According to a statement from Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Wong expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s efforts to facilitate dialogue between Iran and the United States.
During the call, Dar provided information about the “Islamabad Talks” held on April 11–12 and emphasized that Pakistan will continue to promote dialogue and constructive diplomatic engagement.
The parties also expressed concerns about potential impacts on the global economy, particularly on developing countries, and stressed the importance of resolving disputes through peaceful means.
