Ottawa, October 27 (Hibya) - Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney announced a $1 billion investment to build road infrastructure providing access to the Ring of Fire region.
Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney announced in a social media post that the government would invest $1 billion in building road infrastructure to provide access to the Ring of Fire region.
Carney stated that the federal government would match Ontario's $1 billion investment with an equal contribution. In his post, he wrote: "Canada has the critical minerals the world needs. We're matching Ontario's $1 billion investment to build the roads to the Ring of Fire. To build our critical minerals supply chain. To create up to 70,000 jobs."
