Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys said in his speech at the Vilnius Freedom Summit that the free world is under threat.

Budrys stated that authoritarian regimes are cooperating to weaken societies, manipulate information and silence defenders of freedom, drawing attention to the risks these efforts pose to democracy and human rights.

Noting that Lithuania knows the price of freedom and that the struggle for freedom is part of the country's identity, Budrys said Lithuania stands alongside those fighting for democracy, human rights and human dignity around the world.
