Metsola: Strong regions mean a strong Europe
Brussels, October 12 (Hibya) - European Parliament President Roberta Metsola said at the launch of the European Week of Regions and Cities that local representatives sharing their experiences and building partnerships brings Europe closer to its citizens.
European Parliament President Metsola made a statement on the launch of the European Week of Regions and Cities (EURegionsWeek).
Metsola said she was pleased to host many local representatives at the European Parliament and emphasized the importance of representatives sharing their experiences, exchanging ideas and developing partnerships.
Highlighting the role of local authorities in Europe’s strength, Metsola said they would continue working together to bring Europe closer to its citizens.
