Budrys: Lithuania stands in solidarity with Turkey, a reliable NATO ally
Vilnius, March 13 (Hibya) – Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys condemned Iran’s missile attack targeting Turkish airspace and stated that Lithuania stands in full solidarity with its ally Turkey.
Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys made a statement regarding the military activity carried out by Iran, which resulted in a missile being neutralized over Turkish territory.
Condemning the attack, Budrys said, “We strongly condemn Iran's attack today that resulted in the neutralization of a missile over Turkish territory.”
Emphasizing alliance solidarity, Budrys stated, “Lithuania expresses its solidarity with Turkey, a reliable NATO ally, and stands by its side.”
Expressing confidence in NATO’s defense capacity, Budrys added, “Today’s events once again demonstrate that NATO’s defense works and continues to protect Allied territory.”
