Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei stated that the US administration's failure to fulfill its diplomatic commitments and its resort to force and pressure could not be attributed to the religious beliefs of Iranians.

Stating that faith is not an obstacle to rationality and that secularism alone does not guarantee wisdom, Baqaei argued that the US approach, based on unilateral dictates rather than genuine diplomacy, makes rational negotiations more difficult.

Baqaei noted that demanding concessions while refusing to take reciprocal steps, and imposing conditions while disregarding the legitimate interests of the other party, are incompatible with the expectation of reaching a lasting agreement.

Calling for an end to ideological assumptions about the religious beliefs of Iranians, Baqaei urged the United States to understand Iran's strategic interests and legitimate security concerns. He also stated that the US administration should confront its unfulfilled commitments instead of blaming others.
