Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that his country is not only carrying out political and economic reforms, but is also waging an existential struggle for the freedom of all Europe.

Drawing attention to Ukraine's place in European history, Zelensky said, "Among all European countries that have joined the European Union or see such a possibility for themselves, Ukraine is the country that has made the greatest sacrifices for Europe. We are not only implementing internal reforms, nor are we merely undergoing a transformation."

Emphasizing Europe's unity, Zelensky stated, "We are fighting for our state, our independence, and our right to choose our own path and be part of Europe."

Referring to the regional and global impact of their struggle, Zelensky said, "And this right of ours is also the right of every nation in our region. We are fighting for our own freedom and theirs, for ourselves and for them, for Europe; for the Baltic states and Poland, for Hungary and Slovakia, for Romania and Moldova, and for the peoples of the Caucasus."
