Kyiv, August 20 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said coordination between the Defense Ministry and the Defense and Security Forces must be strengthened and called for a comprehensive review of defense agreements with partners.

In a statement, Zelensky said he expects the Defense Ministry and the Defense and Security Forces to work in coordination.
Highlighting the importance of reviewing all agreements reached with partner countries, Zelensky said it should be established which commitments have been implemented and which are still pending.
Zelensky said efforts should be accelerated to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense capabilities and increase protection against ballistic threats.
Zelensky also said Yevheniy Khmara has significant experience in deep-strike operations.
Pointing to Khmara’s previous experience within the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), Zelensky said he expects the number of deep-strike operations to increase and expressed confidence that Khmara will continue working directly in this area.
Zelensky also addressed mobilization, contract military service and unit rotation processes in the Ukrainian army, saying concrete solutions and realistic proposals are needed in these areas.
Zelensky said he expects systematic and joint work on these issues and emphasized that a more humane and systematic approach should be adopted in resolving organizational problems within units.
Zelensky concluded his statement with the words: “Glory to Ukraine!”
