Yeşilgöz-Zegerius: The Netherlands is building a stronger Europe within NATO
Amsterdam, June 30 (Hibya) – Dutch Defense Minister Dilan Yeşilgöz-Zegerius announced that the German-Dutch Corps 1GNC has assumed the role of NATO's tactical headquarters for Estonia and Latvia.
Dutch Defense Minister Dilan Yeşilgöz-Zegerius spoke about the military structures aimed at strengthening NATO's eastern flank and the allies' shared vision for collective defense.
Highlighting the headquarters' new role and partnership structure, Yeşilgöz-Zegerius said: "The German-Dutch Corps 1GNC has assumed the role of NATO's tactical headquarters for Estonia and Latvia."
Emphasizing the Netherlands' contribution to NATO, Yeşilgöz-Zegerius stated: "In this way, the Netherlands, Germany and our allies are strengthening the defense of NATO's eastern flank and building a stronger Europe within a stronger NATO."
